At The Emerald Dance Academy we offer a wide variety of dance styles for children and adults including Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Bollywood Dance, Ballroom & Latin and Street Dance.
Emerald Dance Academy also offers Wedding Dance Lessons for the Bride and Groom's First Dance, as well as Dance Party Packages to suit any occasion!
The Emerald Dance Academy was established in 2016 by Miss Danielle who fell in love with dance at a young age.
Miss Danielle is a fully qualified I.D.T.A Dance Teacher with experience in teaching children from the age of 18 months right through to adults.
Since graduating from The University of Sunderland with a Degree in Dance in 2012, Danielle has had the opportunity to perform in TV Commercials, Bollywood Movies, Music Videos, and Award Shows across India and the Uk.
Miss Jahnel is our Street Dance teacher at Emerald Dance Academy.
She grew up training in street dance styles and has spent years developing her skills as both a performer and teacher. She loves learning new styles, challenging herself, and sharing her passion for dance with others.
Over the years, Jahnel has had some incredible opportunities in the professional dance industry. She has performed with Lizzo at the BRIT Awards, danced at Mikaela Mayer's O2 boxing event, appeared in a Dove advert, performed in the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony, and featured in the Arsenal x Declan Rice campaign.
She has also filmed a feature film and appeared in a Disney series!
Jahnel is passionate about helping young dancers grow in confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly, have fun!
After gaining many years of teaching and performing experience Danielle decided it was time to open her own dance school, which has been her dream since she first fell in love with dance.
